Manufacturing ducts with SS400! Introducing a case that received high praise for the coating application.
We would like to introduce a case where we achieved a change in manufacturing materials by adopting a coating for the chemical duct. Materials such as SUS317L, which are long-lasting stainless steel, were damaged within a few weeks, while Hastelloy C could be used continuously but was not cost-effective. To enable cost reduction, we manufactured the duct using SS400 and applied a high corrosion-resistant coating from CoroCoat.
